GRFC Home Pitch

North Belmont Park—GRFC Home Pitch

Directions from I-85

Exit 23 at Lowell, turn towards McAdenville (signs indicate)

In middle of McAdenville, turn left at light (at fork)

You will cross a bridge over a small river, then continue; the road name will become Hickory Grove Road.

Continue several miles until you see "Gaston County Parks" sign on right.

Pitch is on the left as you turn into the park

Charlotte RFC

FROM POINTS SOUTH OF CHARLOTTE, NC

From I-77

Take I-77 North to I-277, Exit 11 (left exit), onto Brookshire Frwy West and 16 North. Go about 4.8 miles and take a left at the traffic light onto Bellhaven Blvd. Go about 2.2 miles and take a left at Bellhaven Circle (no traffic light), and then a tenth of a mile turn into the grounds parking lot.

From I-85

Take I-85 North to Exit 36, onto Brookshire Frwy West and 16 North. Stay left and take a left at the top of the exit ramp. Go about 3.5 miles and take a left at the traffic light onto Bellhaven Blvd. Go about 2.2 miles and take a left at Bellhaven Circle (no traffic light), and then a tenth of a mile turn into the grounds parking lot.

Asheville RFC

From I-26:

Follow I-26 to Asheville and take I-240 East. Take exit 1C (Amboy road). That exit only allows you to follow to the right off of the interstate. The pitch is a couple of hundred meters up on the right (adjacent to road - you can't miss it).

From I-40:

Take I-40 west to Asheville. Take exit 47 (191-Brevard Raod). Take a right at the top of the ramp and follow about a mile to I-240. Turn right to follow I-240 East. DO NOT MERGE ONTO I-240 as you will be taking the next exit (1C - Amboy Road), and the on-ramp from Brevard Road literally is the same as the exit ramp for Amboy Road. That exit only allows you to follow to the right off of the interstate. The pitch is a couple of hundred meters up on the right (adjacent to road - you can't miss it).

Greenville RFC

From Charlotte, NC and points northeast -- Follow I-85 to Exit 51, taking I-385 North to Greenville. Travel about 2 or three miles taking the NORTH (NOT SOUTH) Pleasantburg Drive Exit. Stay on Pleasantburg for several miles. At Bob Jones Univ it will veer left. You will cross over Ruthorford Road and pass a Bi-Lo and Home Depot. At the intersection of Pleasantburg and Poinsett Highway (hwy 25) -- There is a Quincy's and Stax Restaraunt here -- take a right. Go about two miles and take the "Timmons Arena" exit. At the top of the ramp take a left, cross over the bridge and take a right at the stop light (there is bank and McDonalds here). Go about 1/2 mile and take a right into the University. The rugby pitch is located adjacent to Paladin Stadium and Timmons Arena.

Guilford College RFC

Take 85 to 40 to exit 213. go right off the exit. stay on Guilford college

road until you hit Acadia. turn right into the northwest entrance to

Guilford college. the pitch is on the left.

Triad RFC

I-85 North to Greensboro. Take Groomtown Road exit (exit #119) and turn left on Groomtown road.  Go about 1.5 miles and turn right on Ailanthus Street (Entrance to Oka T. Hester Park).  Pitch is down on the right.
