Secures Accident InsuranceSupporting players so they can focus on the game.June 1 2008 -- In a move to make it easier for EVERYBODY in the Gaston County area to participate in rugby, Gastonia RFC Inc. (GRFC) has secured a dedicated accident insurance policy. This policy covers all active members of Gastonia RFC and ensures that they can fully participate in all Gastonia RFC activities and games with the knowledge that they are protected by an excellent policy in case of accidental injury. This is a major step forward in the growth of Gastonia rugby. We would like to thank our sponsors, supporters and active membership for helping to make this possible. We hope that this policy will encourage those that are interested in playing a contact sport to join GRFC secure in the knowledge that they have a unique benefit not normally provided in amateur sports. GRFC provides secondary accident insurance. This insurance policy protects the individual while participating as an active member of GRFC. Details can be provided to active members on request. (For active members with no insurance the GRFC policy serves as primary insurance.)
